I have had my mazda 3 for like 5 6 months 4800 miles and its an itouring.
If the backup lights come on and the screen goes black then it is not getting the signal from the camera which would be a bad camera a connection is unplugged or a bad wire.

Could be the switch that tells the car is in reverse is bad which would also not turn on the backup lights.

About three times so far when turning the car on in the morning all of the settings including favorite contacts clock and radio settings are all reset.
